Doing what we canNorwich Yoga Festival is committed to keeping it's environmental impact as low as possible. We have chosen to have the Festival in a truly stunning location and we're delighted to be able to make donations to the Whitlingham Trust to do so. They do an incredible job of maintaining the areas natural beauty and wildlife, that it's hard to believe we're just 2 minutes from Norwich.
If you came to the Norwich Yoga Festival last year, you'll know that all of the decorations were made from common recycled items, or something that would biodegrade or be used again. From the straw bales to the bunting we tried our best to keep the environment in mind when making our decorative choices. We will, of course, be doing the same again this year. No horrible plastic decorations. No excess waste or plastics. Use of local products and finally, the addition of working with Ecologi. Ecologi is a global company that's helping communities thrive, and planting trees where ever they go. We've teamed up with them, so that with every ticket sale, we can donate to Ecologi and plant a tree. We have the target of 1000 trees by August 5th, and for every 10 trees over 1000 we'll be adding another 10. |
