2. How do I book Guest Speaker Workshops?
You do not need to book for guest speaker workshops. Just show up.

You do not need to book for Fitness Classes. Just head to the fitness tent a few minutes before your class is due to start.
4. How do I book Kid's Classes
You do not need to book for Kid's Classes. Just head to Kid's Corner a few minutes before the class is due to start.
Class Information:
1. Where can I find the class line ups?
These will be available on the website, we're just confirming the last few spaces.
But we'll have the Main Stage classes, Zen Tent, Fit Tent, Guest Speakers and Kid's Corner again this year.
2. Do I need to have done yoga before to take part?
NO! Most classes are suitable for any one, beginner or experienced yoga practitioner. However, some of the classes are more challenging and fast paced than others. It's best to check out the line up page to read about what each class involves.
3. Do I need to bring a mat?
Yes please! Bring a mat to each class you're taking part in. Don't worry though, you don't have to carry it around with you all day. We have a FREE mat check available for you. Just check your mat in and out as you need.
4. Do I need any other props?
As we're in a meadow, we won't have props available. However if you know you like to use blocks or straps in your practice then feel free to bring them (we won't have space to check these in with a yoga mat). If you've no clue what I'm talking about, don't worry, the classes will work without props too.
5. What if I have an injury or health condition?
If you have been told by your doctor to stay away from yoga or physical activity then please don't attend any of the classes. If you know you are healthy enough to practice then of course you're welcome. If you do have an injury or health condition that you can work around please INFORM THE CLASS TEACHER BEFORE THE CLASS STARTS! And arrive early too that class make sure you have time to talk to them.
6. What if I don't like the class?
If you're half way through a class and it's not for you. Just roll up your mat and make your way out, please try to cause as little disruption as you can as others are still enjoying their practice.
7. When shall I get to the tent for a class?
There is a fast turn around between classes as we have so many to fit in across the day. to keep things running smoothly please show up for the class 5 minutes before it's due to start and wait outside the tent/ class area! You will be told when you can go in and if the class is busy you'll likely be told where to put your mat. After the class please roll up your mat and leave promptly, if you'd like to speak to the teacher wait for them outside the tent or just off main stage and chat to them there.
8. What shall I wear?
We recommend your favourite yoga gear. Something stretchy so you can move full range. But most importantly, dress for the weather!
9. Do I need anything else for classes?
We recommend bringing a bottle of water to keep you hydrated throughout the day. We have a free water station to refill your bottle.
Other info:
1. Where shall I park?
We recommend Whitlingham Lane or getting public transport to Trowse and walking down to the Festival from there (about a mile, if that). This means that the lake parking won't be completely full for others wanting to enjoy the park.
There is a Beryl Bike station on one of the car parks so hiring a bike or scooter from the city and riding down is a great option.
If you are driving there are 2 car parks before the Barn cafe on the left of Whitlingham Lane. There is 1 car park on the left after the Barn Cafe, and there is another about half a mile passed the Barn on the right. These are all pay and display.
Car sharing is recommended if you're coming with friends. Please park responsibly. The Norwich Yoga Festival has NOTHING to do with parking or regulations, so if you get any form of ticket on the day we will have no part in appealing it and take no responsibility.
Train: Norwich Train station is a 40 minute walk from the station (according to Google maps, which I always think times it on the slow side).
2. Where is the Festival?
Great Question! The Festival is on the Picnic Meadow, which is about 100m down Whitlingham Lane from the Barn cafe, on the right hand side. Whitlingham Country Park, Whitlingham Ln, Trowse Newton, Norwich NR14 8TR
You wont be able to miss it as you walk down the road towards the event.

3. Can I bring my dog?
Short answer, yes. But doggo must be on a lead at ALL times and well behaved. This is a family event, bringing a nervous dog wouldn't be kind to the dog itself. If it's a hot day it might be worth leaving your 4 legged friend at home as they may overheat. They won't be able to attend any of the classes either.
4. Is there food and drink?
Yes we have wonderful local food vendors and a coffee truck too. There is also the Barn Cafe with loads of options.
5. Will there be ice creams?
Yes! They have ice cream at the Barn Cafe, and we may have a van doing a drive by or 2.
6. Are there toilets?
Yes we have port-a-loos available. They'll be sign posted when you're in the Festival.
7. Are there baby changing facilities?
Yes, in both the Barn cafe and in the toilets in the Barn Car Park
8. Can I bring my own food and drink?
Yes you may bring a picnic, there is space to sit out and enjoy food in the sunshine, whether you get it from the vendor on the day or bring it yourself. We ask you to clear all rubbish away using the bins around the festival. We also ask that your limit or restrict alcohol completely, it's a wellness event and we encourage you to be active, and alcohol isn't safe to mix with exercise. Or if you're not doing any yoga we still want you coming away feeling fabulous... Not hungover or dehydrated.
9. What time does the Festival start and finish?
Gates open at 8:30am and the last class finishes just after 5:30pm. The Barn Meadow, which is where the food and bar will be situated, will be up and running until 8pm.
10. Can I bring Children?
Yes, the festival is definitely a family event, with kids classes running all day. We have tickets available for 2 adults and 2 children at a slight discount. We have individual children's tickets, and any child under 3 can come in FREE!
Money/Buying stuff:
1. Can I buy a ticket on the day?
Yes, but to guarantee your spot I recommend booking ahead of time because we have limited numbers to make sure every one can fit into the yoga classes.
2. Can I pay in cash?
Most vendors will take card and cash. I'd bring both with you, as some may only deal with one or the other. The nearest cash point is probably Morrisons at Riverside.
