Meet the Main Stage Teachers
Marie Williams Yoga'Connecting to Spanda' - An Embodied Flow
Marie, a yoga teacher and therapist, shares the expansive joy and deep wisdom of connecting to your body through movement and flow in this class. She shares a movement practice, inspired by yoga and somatics, through which she hopes to guide you to get to know yourself from the inside out. By attuning to the vibrations, rhythms and pulses of your inner world, we can connect more profoundly to the rhythm of all that is around us, as we move together as one giant vibration of pulsating energy - spanda! |
Chameleon Yoga
Earth Elemental Yoga.
Just as the Earth is our home our bodies are the homes of our spirits. When we connect to the earth element we can draw on that grounding and nurturing energy. Helping us to feel safe, nourished and rooted in the present. When we shift into coherence with the Earth we find balance within. This will be a simple practice, focusing on moving our energy and opening up space in our bodies. Peter can't wait to share this magical space with all of you. |
Pilates EastJoin Lauren from Pilates East for a strong and dynamic Pilates class. Working through the Classical Mat exercises created by Joseph Pilates, we’ll focus on finding your ‘Powerhouse’ to build strength and move with ease and control. You’ll finish the class feeling energised and focused and have an understanding of how Pilates can enhance all aspects of your Yoga practice.

David Harvey YogaDavid's classes are inclusive, challenging, balanced, engaging, and energising. David now brings his experience, empathy, energy, and Irish tones, to the main stage of Norwich Yoga Festival. In this Hatha practice, we will hold poses for longer whilst cultivating a strong, deep connection to our breath. We will build strength and heat. There will be a lot of releasing through lion's breath. There may be an arm balance or two. There may also be a couple of jokes and some good banter thrown in for good measure - it's all about balance, right?
