Milly CooteConnecting to your Cycle:
Milly has a passion for all things wellness and women's health. She started her journey after quitting the pill that she'd been on for 10 years and having surgery for suspected endometriosis. This experience made Milly want to connect with her body. She wanted to embrace her menstrual cycle instead of hate it, and share this with everyone so they can do the same. What I'll be offering: We'll explore how the menstrual cycle affects our energy and wellbeing. We'll dive into each phase from high energy during ovulation to the more reflective times during menstruation. By understanding these rhythms, not only can we can adapt our yoga practice and daily routines to support ourselves better but our loved ones can also learn how best to support us. Let's explore together how honouring our menstrual cycle can lead to profound benefits, offering us a roadmap to greater harmony, vitality, and self-awareness. |

Charlotte CourtenayFinding Calm in the Chaos- Strategies for coping with Stress:
Charlotte currently works as a psychologist, specialising in helping people achieve peak performance while maintaining optimal health. Her journey in psychology and understanding of the human brain began in 2013. Having experienced anxiety as a teenager, Charlotte developed tools to manage her stress, which she now aims to share with others. Learning to control her stress enabled her to seize more of the opportunities life presented to her. In her work, Charlotte often encounters people struggling with memory, time management, and concentration, which is often found to be a result of high stress levels. This, along with her previous own struggles with anxiety, led Charlotte to dedicate herself to helping others manage their mental state. This talk will address stress management. Firstly, we will delve into understanding what stress is. We'll then explore how to recognise the signs of stress, as it's crucial to be aware when it's happening in order to address it effectively. Following this, we'll explore various methods for managing stress, ranging from cultivating healthy daily habits to coping strategies for moments of crisis. |
