Kirsty, founder of Back To Our Roots, is a scuba dive instructor, yoga teacher, and retreat leader who runs immersive, nature-based experiences in Egypt, Sardinia, and Norfolk, as well as company wellness days. She’s thrilled to be returning to Norwich Yoga Festival for the third year in a row with her class Upside Down with Kirsty.
This playful, session (suitable for all levels) will explore shoulder strength drills, core stabiliser engagement, and protraction of the muscles around the back and shoulders - key foundations for going upside down safely. Whether you’re new to inversions or a seasoned practitioner, you’ll build strength, body awareness, and confidence throughout the practice. And if you’re feeling ready by the end of class, you’ll have the chance to explore some accessible inversion variations we’ve worked towards.
Kirsty’s approach focuses on function over form, encouraging curiosity, connection, and fun throughout your movement journey. If you’re interested in joining her for a retreat or company wellness experience, you’re warmly invited to contact her at@backtourroots

Norwich Latin Dance
Dance the day away @ 4:30-5:10pm
Hola! We're Jack and Marwa, co-founders of Norwich Latin Dance. We teach and perform all over Norfolk and London but primarily we are based in Norwich.
We're really excited to bring our passion to the Norwich Yoga Festival - we're going to be bringing you Bachata from the Dominican Republic with a fusion of Brazilian Zouk. These two styles come together to create a very smooth dance where the energy flows from one movement to another in beautiful circular patterns.
You don't need any prior knowledge or dance experience, wear whatever you're comfortable in and be prepared to connect with each other, yourselves and the music, see you soon!
