Let’s Start With The Basics

Well it’s a yoga festival, so let’s start with a touch of yoga in its most common form. Movement on a yoga mat.

Join Tori in the Zen Tent for Beginners Yoga, a 40 minute class where you can learn the difference between your upward dogs and your downward dogs, and figure out some of the other moves too.

Don’t like it? As it’s in an open space, you can set up at the edge and walk away if you need to. OR just sit, watch, and rest. The choice is yours.

Ok, Let’s Try Dancing

When was the last time you got lost in dance? Ever considered dance as a from of exercise?

Moving your body in this fun and accessible way will have your endorphins up and your energy high.

Asha, a local Zumba teacher, will take you through multiple routines which are designed to get you moving, and easy to grasp. Perfect for anyone new to movement, or that hasn’t danced in a while.

Time for a Break

Now… have you had a massage lately?

Body work is incredible, especially after all the movement you’d have been doing.

Now is a great time to head to Zen Corner, where all the relaxing delights take place.

Seek out The Shiatsu College and treat yourself. You’ll come away blissfully relaxed and feeling even better.

Find The Shiatsu College in Zen Corner. Bookings for treatments may open 2 weeks before the Festival for ticket holders but you might be able to get a walk in on the day.

What About Food

Chelsea Lea has a wonderfully attainable way of talking about all things nutrition.

Start to get to grips with the basics, and understand how much misinformation is out there.

Chelsea can help guide you to a simple approach to food, that doesn’t involve counting calories or weighing out every morsel you put in your mouth.

If food is a conundrum to you, this is a great space to be.
