The struggle of working alone
The desire to do it all
Burn out is inevitable or already there
That focus is elusive and balance impossible

Jan Roberts
From Survival to Sustained Success - 12:20-1:00pm
Founder of Neuromind, Jan, will be speaking in the Community Corner about the realities of being a neurodivergent woman in business, including practical strategies for managing energy, reducing overwhelm, recognising personal strengths, and building more sustainable ways of working.
From classical ballet dancer to business owner, it hasn’t been a linear journey. Jan will be sharing some of the humour, challenges, and unexpected insights that have shaped that path, and hopefully offering reassurance that even when life feels like swimming against the tide, the very traits you may have struggled with can also become some of your greatest strengths.

Rhythms of Self-Care: Sustaining the Person Behind the Business
Rhythms of Self-Care: Sustaining the Person Behind the Business - 1:10-1:50pm
Michelle Cheesbrough of Whole Health Pathways and Rebecca Leonard of First Light Nutrition are health and wellbeing coaches and co-directors of Integrative Holistic Health East CIC. Together, they deliver accessible health programmes built around four interconnected foundations of health: movement, stress regulation, rest and sleep, and nourishment.
Alongside the valuable skills involved in developing, communicating and promoting a business, this session turns attention to the person behind the work.
We often plan our businesses around tasks, deadlines and goals, but rarely around the rhythms that help us remain well enough to carry them.
Michelle and Rebecca will explore three questions:
What helps me return to balance?
What rhythm supports me?
What practice do I need to protect?Using reflective cards and a simple rhythm check-in, participants will consider the daily, weekly and seasonal patterns that support their energy, wellbeing and ability to continue doing work that matters to them.
